DeAira Jackson is an accomplished NCAA Division I goalkeeper with 19 years of soccer experience and a proven track record of resilience and leadership. She began her collegiate career at California State University, Fullerton, where she earned Big West Freshman Team and Defensive Player of the Week honors before transferring to Grand Canyon University. At GCU, she quickly became a standout, setting program records and earning accolades including WAC Goalkeeper of the Year, WAC All-Tournament honors, All-Pacific Region recognition, and multiple Goalkeeper of the Week awards. A consistent starter, she played nearly every minute in goal, posting impressive save percentages and shutout totals that solidified her reputation as one of the top keepers in the conference.
Beyond her performance in net, DeAira was recognized as a member of the GCU Leadership Council, where she mentored teammates and set the tone for accountability and growth both on and off the pitch. Her ability to balance elite athletic performance with academic success has made her a role model in every environment she’s stepped into. Now competing professionally with the Utah Royals in the NWSL.
